Agnes Bruckner - born 16 August 1985, is a popular American actor and model. The actress began acting in television at the end of 1990 and was featured in numerous films such as The Woods and Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate. Bruckner launched her career in 2001, at 11 years old. Bruckner appeared in several commercials, TV pilots and a soap show The Bold and the Beautiful at the time of daytime broadcast in 1999. At the age of 15 Bruckner had her first leading role in the independent film Blue Car (2002) in which she played the role of a student at high school who is having an affair with her teacher who was played by David Strathairn. Roger Ebert said that Bruckner performed the role with aplomb. Her role in the film was selected at the Independent Spirit Awards for "Best Female Lead". She was raised by three siblings and a brother. Hungarian is her mother tongue, which she practices frequently to stay in the loop. Bruckner was born in Hollywood California to a Hungarian father as well as the Russian mother. They later divorced. Her paternal grandfather was German. The couple were introduced in Hungary. The couple immigrated to into the U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. She has a sister and a brother.
